Aircraft Paint Facility Overview

Our aircraft paint facility is equipped with modern environmental controls, advanced equipment, and fire protection systems to ensure safety and precision throughout every project. We use aviation-grade materials, including polyurethane, enamel, zinc chromate, and water-based paints, all developed specifically for aircraft use.

Our processes are ISO 9001 certified and fully compliant with federal and state safety regulations. The facility includes three specialized hangars: the Prep Hangar, Maintenance Hangar, and Spray Booth Hangar, where aircraft move during each stage of the painting process.

The process begins in our inspection area, where each aircraft undergoes a detailed intake inspection. This step documents the current condition and helps identify any additional work that may be required. After inspection, we move into disassembly, removing all flight controls to prepare for taping and chemical stripping.

After the paint is stripped, we complete a post-strip inspection and remove any remaining chemical residue. From there, the aircraft enters the preparation and bodywork phase. This is where we repair dents, scratches, and other exterior imperfections to ensure a smooth, clean surface for painting.

Prep work is the heart of our process. Before any paint is applied, we spend a significant amount of time identifying and correcting every ding, scratch, and dent to restore your aircraft’s surface to near-perfect condition.

Our team uses platform lifts that move the full length and width of the hangar, allowing us to work efficiently and safely throughout the aircraft refurbishment process. Every step is designed to keep your project moving forward, so you can get back in the air without delay.

In our paint area, we use flexible bays that adjust to accommodate different aircraft sizes. Depending on the project, bays can range from 20×40 feet to 150×150 feet.

These isolated paint booths create a controlled, particle-free environment where each aircraft is painted using industry-recommended equipment. This setup helps reduce overspray and improves overall painting efficiency.

Once painting is complete, all aircraft components are carefully reassembled. Your aircraft then undergoes a final inspection and is stored indoors until you arrive for pick-up.
