From Rendering to Reveal – Mark Sullivan’s Cessna 172L Skyhawk Aircraft Paint Design
Throughout our aircraft painting process at ArtCraft Paint, all of our clients start to feel like friends and family. Our team gains a better understanding of them and a sense of who they are. We previously worked with Mark Sullivan, from the STC Group, on his Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche. He received so many compliments from our paintwork on his Twin Comanche, he decided to bring in his Cessna 172L Skyhawk for a paint job by the expert craftsman at ArtCraft Paint as well!
Creating the Cessna 172L Skyhawk rendering
Here at ArtCraft Paint, we always start every aircraft paint job by understanding what our client is looking to have done and what type of paint scheme for the aircraft they have in mind. Once we have a good idea of what this entails, our paint designers get to work creating a few plane design options our clients can choose from.
Here is Mark’s final rendering for his Cessna 172L paint job. You can see Mark selected a bold red and complimentary gold paint scheme for his final aircraft design.
The Cessna 172L Reveal
Throughout the aircraft painting process, the team at ArtCraft Paint often gives updates to our clients and shows them some of the progress photos. We love showing some of the behind-the-scenes action so that they can truly feel part of the process and get excited about the final product. Once the aircraft’s paint job is complete, we can’t wait for our clients to get back to the ArtCraft Paint, conveniently located at the Santa Maria Airport (SMX), to pick up their plane!
